As many as 623 Guizhou-based companies have applied for the import and export permission in the year of 2014, a 75- percent increase of 2013, which has hit a historical high. 584 of them were private companies, which account for 93.7 percent. Guiyang Daily reported.
Among them, 357 companies are located in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province, which account for 57.3 percent.
The total import and export value of the Guizhou-based private companies is 45.6 billion yuan ($7.6 billion) in 2014, a 44.2 percent increase compared to that of 2013, which has accounted for 68.6 percent of the total import and export value of Guizhou.
According to Guiyang Customs, Guiyang has carried on many training courses related to bonded storage, customs clearance. it will also provide free guidebooks and even consultancy services to local companies.
