The 182nd Oktoberfest, the true German beer festival, will be held in the city of Guiyang, in Guizhou province for a second time, Sept 8-12, at the Kempinski Hotel, a luxury 5-star hotel just a 15-minute drive from Longdongbao International Airport.

It is the Paulaner Bräuhaus, on the hotel's 6th floor, where a Philippine band "Sensation" will perform live, and there is freshly tapped beer and a wide range of traditional German cuisine served by hotel staff dressed in Bavarian costumes.
The Oktoberfest first started as a carnival in 1810, associated with a royal wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese.
