Yu suggested that Guizhou should continue to effectively work towards solving difficulties that manufacturing enterprises and consumers face, which would improve the province's business environment and fully stimulate market vitality.
In recent years, Guiyang has grasped and made good use of its opportunities to further economic development and upgrading. It has used its regional advantages and its role as Guizhou's provincial capital as a driving force for the rapid and sound development of its urban economic zone.
"Guiyang is the political, economic, and cultural center of Guizhou province, as well as a 'window' into the image that the province wants to project. It is also an engine that drives the province's economic and social development," said Xiao Shenggan, a member of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Guizhou Fulesen Building Decoration Industry Group.
