Residents of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, now have access to foreign household goods, as an exhibition center for middle and high-end imported living goods opened to the public on Feb 2.
Covering an area of 350 square meters, the exhibition center displays and sells more than 400 products worth over 3 million yuan ($448,445) from 10 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, and South Korea.
The exhibition offers products from multiple world-famous brands, including Laurastar, a Swiss ironing care brand, Speed Queen, a US brand of durable home laundry equipment, Smeg, an Italian refrigerator brand, Blendtec, which makes the world's most advanced blenders, and OLFA, the world's number one maker of cutting tools.
The center, together with the Guiyang free trade zone, will dedicate itself to satisfying the customer demand for high-end imported goods.
