The city will give particular support to the development of cultural industries and new forms of culture, such as film and television, printing, publishing, creativity, animation and performing arts.
Guiyang has a urgency in building a number of modern cultural industry gathering areas, including Guiyang Digital Content Industrial Park, Yangming Cultural Industrial Park and Guizhou Cultural Publishing Industrial Park, and it continues to hold the Asian Youth Animation Competition.
