Guiyang's 719 industrial enterprises above a designated size, those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.85 million) or more, are in great shape, according to local officials.
The companies in that category have resumed production, as well as 166 industrial projects currently under construction, according to the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology on Feb 25.

In recent days, the city's industry and information system organized a special procedure for industrial enterprises and projects to resume production.
It also conducted research, visits and coordinated services to help enterprises solve production and operational difficulties, based on learning about the status of the businesses and the implementation of preferential policies.
In an effort to support the stable development of companies, Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology also launched various measures.
These included a micro, small and medium-sized enterprise innovation service electronic voucher distribution plan, a 20 million yuan special fund subsidy work plan and another plan to reduce the pressure on industrial enterprises, officials said.
