Advanced technological features

Nearly half of the supercomputers ranking in the global supercomputer Top 500 List, including Tianhe-I, adopt the technology of heterogeneous architecture, which is a significant contribution by Chinese scientists to world supercomputer research.

The High Speed Intercommunication System of Tianhe-I helps the supercomputer construct a huge and highly-efficient network, through which millions of CPUs and GPUs exchange information.
