Hanfu, cultural revival or awkward 'time travel'?

Compared with Hanfu, I prefer to wear qipao. Qipao is more convenient to wear and more accepted in the public eye. I feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed when others on the street all stare at me or even laugh at me.
