A ship stops on the Grand Canal in Huai’an, in Jiangsu province, on Dec 20. In recent years, the North Jiangsu Navigation Management Office has taken the lead in establishing the "Intelligent Dispatching System" in China. This has created a boat communications service and realizing intelligent dispatching through shipping locks. In April last year, the Subei Ship Lock also formally completed installing the Subei Canal Ship Passing Credit System, which established a ship credit file for each ship -- intelligently dispatching the vessels according to a ship’s credit score and providing various services. Since the implementation of the measures, the record of violations at the gates have decreased by 27.6 percent year-on-year, and the satisfaction rate of users is as high as 99.4 percent.
