Art exhibition depicts China's social development

Social networks allow people to share not only their lives but also their talents. They have become an alternative stage for both professionals and amateurs to showcase their creativity.

An exhibition at the Yuhua Art Museum, in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, is now displaying the work of people for whom art is their hobby.

Running until Aug 3 and organized by the China Artists Association, the exhibition includes oil works, prints, watercolors, lacquer paintings, and mixed media works. The themes range from grand historical narratives to depictions of the country's varying landscapes and people's daily lives, providing a comprehensive and multifaceted view of China's social development.
