Highlights of cultural exchange activities in 2015

The 8th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair

With the theme "A Continuous Line, Creative Future", the Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair is the unique one named "Cross-Strait", sponsored by both sides of the Taiwan Strait. From October 30 to November 2, 2015, the four-day fair was held in Xiamen.

In the fair, various artistic masterpieces were shown to win the competition for "Chinese Art High-Quality Reward". The Art Design Week attracted numerous design students from over 40 universities in the mainland and the four design colleges in Taiwan including National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) and Shih Chien University.

The cultural fair has set up four specialized exhibition areas, including crafts, creative designs, digital content and new media as well as creative cultural tourism, attracting 1696 cultural industries and institutions to the exhibition, 737 from which were from Taiwan.
