The 15th Anniversary of Meet in Beijing Arts Festival

The 15th Anniversary of Meet in Beijing Arts Festival kicked off in Beijing on 23th April 2015. Meet in Beijing Arts Festival, a state-level large arts festival, is the largest spring arts festival in the Asian region. America was the main guest of honor for the first time, and Latin American and Caribbean Arts Festival were two highlights of this event.

During the last 15 years, the festival has presented Beijing Opera, Chinese folk dance, Western opera, Europe modern dance, Broadway musical comedies, Irish step dance, Mexican country dance, and Spanish flamenco in Beijing's premiere venues, such as theaters, exhibition centers, parks, and public squares.

Adhering to "International, Classic, Innovative and public beneficial", the festival introduced excellent foreign culture to China. In the last 15 years, since the launch of the "Meet in Beijing" Arts Festival, there have been more than ten thousand artists, coming from hundreds of different countries in the world, who have participated by presenting their talents at this arts festival.
