Urban Dialogue, a free exhibition for Shenzhen residents in Guangdong province, tells how architecture integrates with and creates communities.
Featured examples include Beijing South Station, Shenzhen's KK 100 mall and Hong Kong's Peak Tower, as well as other projects in East Asia such as Incheon International Airport of South Korea.
Besides these landmark designs is Farrells, the British architectural planning firm that practices in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The exhibition celebrates the 25th anniversary of the firm's participation in the Chinese mainland’' urban development.
On show are designers' sketches, photos and models taking the audience through the complex, systematic process of urban design.
The exhibition is held at the Excellence Group Century Tower through Dec 2.
