Pollution reduction sees innovation in Fujian

Jinjiang county, Fujian province, carries out co-innovation of the reduction of pollution and carbon emissions, to promote the green transformation of the industrial chain, supply chain, logistics chain and information chain, focusing on textile printing and dyeing industries with high energy and water consumption.
Fynex Textile factory, located in the Jinjiang economic development zone, introduced intelligent printing and dyeing equipment to treat sewage, recycle and purify waste gas and recover waste heat. "With a set of combined technologies, our comprehensive energy consumption has been reduced by more than 20 percent," said Ye Weigang, administrative director of Fynex Textile Science and Technology Co.
The company applies the latest sewage treatment technology, effectively improves the effect of sewage treatment, reduces the cost of treatment and achieves sewage treatment indexes that are comprehensively better than the national emission standards. Ban Qiyong, director of the Fynex sewage treatment plant, added.
Through structural adjustment, policy encouragement, mechanism innovation, scientific and technological innovation and application, Jinjiang has achieved certain results in reducing pollution and carbon emissions and has stimulated the new momentum of Jinjiang enterprises.
122 enterprises in Jinjiang county have introduced clean production technologies and efficient end-of-line treatment equipment to achieve systematic green upgrading of the whole process. Nineteen enterprises such as 361sport have been awarded national green factories, which provide valuable experience and reference in reducing pollution and carbon emissions.
"Next, we will continue to cater to the dual-carbon goal and improve the park's green construction, striving to build a green, smart and innovative modern park. The economic development zone is trying to create a zero-carbon park and cultivate more green and low-carbon factories," the person in charge of the Jinjiang economic development zone said.
