How mountainous villages in China climbed out of poverty

Wang Jucai is a resident of Fengtaiping village, Wuxiang county in Changzhi. His family was identified as an impoverished household in 2014.

Two years later in 2016, Wang and his son were introduced to beekeeping with the help of local government. By 2018 Wang was making nearly 40,000 yuan a year from beekeeping.
