Li Zengfu is a villager of Shanghuang village, Lucheng district of Changzhi. He and his wife both suffer from serious chronic diseases. His family of six survived by planting 0.4 hectares of corn, but still remained in poverty.

In 2016, her daughter and son-in-law participated in the professional skill training sessions for poor households. Afterwards, they opened a local noodle restaurant, improving life in the Li household.
